Red Lake Fly in Fishing Lodge and Outposts Canadian fishing for trophy Northern Pike and Walleye

Red Lake Fly in Fishing Lodge and Outposts Northwestern Ontario

Possibly The World's Best Trophy Pike Lake

Ontario FishingSince opening our small lodge on fabulous Little Vermilion Lake, our guests have caught more than 89 Northern Pike weighing 30-40 lbs,(over 50 inches) - earning this lake the distinction of being considered The Northern Pike Capital of America!

The record of the lake is exceptional and well documented by fishing enthusiasts who return to these productive waters each year for a chance at a world class trophy Northern Pike. Little Vermilion is a remote, fly-in lake, 18 air miles north of the town of Red Lake in northwestern Ontario. Sportsman's is the only dodge on the lake and we intentionally limit our capacity to ensure the best fishing for our guests.

Great fishing all season long...With its relatively consistent bottom structure and lack of deeper areas which can make it difficult to locate fish during the warmer months of July and August, Little Vermilion provides very productive fishing waters throughout the entire season.
