Right on the bank of the White River, located eight miles below Bull Shoals Dam, Fulton's Lodge offers a clean, quiet, peaceful setting to fish or relax to your heart's content.
Also right on the bank of the White River, the River House is located on Wildcat Shoals, one of the most famous fly fishing sections of the White River. Now in his sixties, Dale has fished the White River since early childhood, and in 1978 he began returning to Arkansas to guide the off season on the White and Norfork Rivers.
Spin (bait) on sunnier days, the power micetails in pink and white have been working well. On the overcast days, smelt have been doing better, along with natural redworms. Sculpins if you can catch them.
Fly fishermen – y2k’s, large streamers, and woolly buggers. Again, size and color dependent on the conditions of the moment. Typically, dark colors on darker days, and larger sizes with larger flows. Fish are down and moving, not much on dries right now according to my guests.
