Captain Morgan is a USCG-licensed Captain with a 100-ton Master License. He is a lifelong fisherman who has fished both fresh and salt water around the world. Since 1999, he has chosen to fish professionally in southeast Florida and the Bahamas full time. His vessel, FreeSpool, is a 32-foot Blackfin express sport fisher rigged with a marlin tower, outriggers and an electronic package to make our fishing trips fun, safe and successful.
What kind of fish will we catch?
We fish in the Atlantic Ocean offshore of Jupiter Florida . The Straits of Florida -- also called Sailfish Alley -- provide fishing action throughout the year. We troll for sailfish, dolphin (mahi mahi), wahoo, kingfish, bonito, amberjack and marlin. December through March is the best for sailfish but they are here year around. We will work with you on any type of fishing you would like, including bottom fishing.
Jupiter Fishing Charters
With our close proximity to the fishing grounds, 2 to 3 miles offshore, we oJupiter fishing charter trips of 5 hours or 8 hours. Prices include everything for fishing except live bait. Live bait is not essential but frequently provides success. Trips to the Bahamas are available for multi-day charters and are customized to meet the client's needs.
What do I need to bring?
You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages. Yes, it is okay to bring beer. The boat has coolers with ice for your use. You should bring sunglasses, sun block and a hat. All fishing gear, tackle and dead bait are included.
