My name is Paul Roydhouse. I'm a third generation fisherman here in Fort Lauderdale, and I've been fishing here for over 40 years. My philosophy on fishing is to do whatever it takes to find fish and never leave 'em biting. Only 1 mile off Fort Lauderdale beach we have a year round migration of some of the biggest and most sought after gamefish in the world. Depending on the time of year, you will catch Kingfish, Tuna, Wahoo, Sailfish, Marlin, Snapper, Grouper, Cobia, Amberjack, Barracuda, or Big Game Sharks. I've been fishing my whole life and I still love it. Whatever conditions the day has to offer, I can use my experience to find the fish for you.

Fort Lauderdale Private Fishing Charters

The Big Game is a 48' Ray Davis sport fishing machine! She's Ft. Lauderdales finest charter fishing boat, very comfortable with Air Conditioning and all the amenities. This boat consistently outfishes the competition. No other boat consistently catches big game fish like she does. No matter if you're a first timer or a seasoned fisherman, you're going to have a great fishing charter aboard the Big Game. We love getting new people into our sport. You can go by yourself and join a shared charter or charter the boat privately to yourself. It's a great trip no matter how you do it.

Fort Lauderdale Drift Fishing

Drift fishing is a great way to get out fishing in Ft. Lauderdale. We run 3 four hour fishing trips every day. Morning trip is 8:30AM-12:30PM, afternoon trip is 1:30PM-5:30PM and the night trip is 7:30PM-11:30PM. Our boat is the Catch My Drift, a beautiful 85' Aluminum Hull party fishing boat, coast guard certified and licensed to take up to 70 passengers. You won't find a bigger, faster, or more comfortable boat in our area. We include everything you will need on your trip. Our crew is experienced, professional and most importantly friendly.

Most of our fishing on our 2 daytime trips is done on the 3rd reef off Ft. Lauderdale beach. We target Kingfish, Mackerel, Tuna, Bonito, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Snapper, Grouper, and even the occasional Sailfish. Different species bite at different times of the year. Our night trip is our trip for the best action. On our night anchor trip, we anchor the boat in 45'-100' of water. We chum the water and get the fish swarming behind the boat. Our target is to catch yellowtail snapper. We also catch some mutton snappers, groupers, cobias, kingfish, and lots of other reef dwellers. If your looking for action, this is your trip.

Shared Fishing Charter

On a shared charter, we put you together with another small party to make a full trip. On a shared charter, we take out between 3-6 people total. We go sportfishing for sailfish, dolphin, tuna, wahoo, etc� whatever the captain thinks will catch us the most fish. We fish anywhere from 1 to a few miles offshore, up and down the coast of Fort Lauderdale, Pompano, and Miami. This is a great fishing trip if you�re by yourself or if it�s just a couple of you and you don�t want to spend the money to charter a boat privately. Fort Lauderdale Private Fishing Charters

Private Sportfishing Charters - Groups of 7-15 people

Often we would get a group of 7 or more people in a group that wanted to do a private sportfishing charter. Unfortunately, most charter boats in Fort Lauderdale are only licensed to take a maximum of 6 people. Because both of our drift fishing boats are licensed to take more than 6 people, we have converted the Mary B III over to run sportfishing trips. We stocked the boat with kite fishing equipment, heavy tackle for shark and marlin fishing, reinforced rod holders, live bait tanks, and trolling lures. She is fully rigged and ready for sportfishing charters and we�ve been running charters on her for about a year now.
