Islamorada Sport Fishing Options
Reef & Bottom Fishing The Florida Keys has one of the largest living coral reef systems in the world. On our reefs you'll find grouper, yellow-tail snapper, mutton snapper, cobia, permit, king mackerel, and lots more. Fishing is only three miles from the marina and a blast for both the experienced fishermen and first timers alike. Bottom fishing is good year round in the Florida Keys.
Back Country: The Back Side as it is called here in the Keys offers shallow water fishing for Tarpon, Permit, Bonefish, Trout, Snook, Redfish and plenty of other species. Fish in water as shallow as 6 inches! The back country offers direct access to the Gulf of Mexico, where we can slip out and fish shallow water wrecks for Grouper, Snapper, Cobia, and Goliath Grouper!
Offshore Gulf Stream: The Gulf Stream is about 12 miles offshore of Islamorada, FL and offers great fishing options. Swordfish, Dolphin, Sailfish, Tuna, & Wahoo can all be caught in the Gulf Stream off of Islamorada. Both daytime, night-time, and combo trips are offered for all big game species.

Captain John Oughton heads up Islamorada for OU and has 27 years of experience under his belt. He has fished the East Coast extensively, including New Jersey, Maryland, North Carolina and of course the Florida Keys. Captain John has also fished abroad in Hawaii, Costa Rica, Mexico and the Virgin Islands. He is a proven tournament winner and is always looking to apply his knowledge to catch you fish. Captain John invites you to spend a day (or two) fishing the beautiful waters off Islamorada and the surrounding Florida Keys.

30' Center Console - For Groups to four, Inshore and Offshore this 2009 built Mirage is great for light-tackle, fast action, and keeps the price down for smaller groups.
19' Backcountry Skiffs - Choose from one of several smaller back-country boats for shallow water sight fishing, fly-fishing, live-bait, spin or plug.
