Chris Morrison's gulf boat is a 24ft Mako Bay Boat powered by a 250hp Yamaha.
This boat has the latest electronics and all the cooler space you could possible want. The center console design can comfortably accommodate two to four anglers and provides a comfortable ride to and from the Gulf side and is idealy rigged for Marathon fishing charters.

Capt. Chris' flats boat is a 16ft Dolphin Super Skiff with a current year
90hp Yamaha engine. This model is a very efficient flats boat, excellent for
live bait or fly fishing. The low profile design of this boat allows anglers to
approach easily spooked game fish undetected.

Both vessels are equipped with US Coast Guard certified safety equipment. All year here in the Keys there are excellent sportfishing opportunities!

The big three on the flats are Tarpon, Bonefish, and Permit. All three species are available year round, depending on weather patterns.

The best time for Marathon flats fishing is February through the end of July, however slams are caught during every month of the year. Most world and line class records for these three species have been caught in the Keys.

Many other species also inhabit the inshore waters and I love to fish for all of them. These other species provide constant action and include barracuda, shark, sea trout, mackerel, bluefish, pompano, cobia, redfish, and a variety of snapper, just to name a few.

All you need to bring to enjoy a great day on the water is a hat, sunscreen, and polarized sunglasses. A fishing license, tackle, a cooler with ice, and fishing gear will be provided for you on your Marathon Florida Fishing charter.
