Tamarindo Beach is located in the Guanacaste Province on Costa Rica's northwest Pacific coast, 90 miles from the Capital of San Jose. Tamarindo's white sand beaches, nature parks and central location make it a popular spot for vacationers and anglers from all over the world. Besides its world famous sport fishing, Tamarindo offers a wide array of activities such as surfing, kayaking, diving, horseback riding, bird watching. Tamarindo Deep Sea Fishing Charter
 Osprey is a 31 ft. Rampage powered by twin 300 HP Detroit Diesels. The boat is fully equipped to assure a safe and successful angling experience both off shore and in shore. For your comfort, Osprey provides a full cabin with walk -in bathroom and plenty of shade on deck. Lunches, snacks, sodas, beer and bottles water are provided. We prefer to limit our parties to four anglers.
With over 15 years aboard the Osprey, our crew is among the most experienced and reliable in the area. They are also excellent teachers to newcomers to the sport. They are committed to conservation ethics in sport fishing. Catch-and-release is practiced on all bill fish. With food species, the practice is keep what you can eat and release the rest
Tamarindo Fishing Charter
 Fishing in Tamarindo Costa Ricaarlin, Sailfish, Tuna, Dorado and many other species can be caught year round, however mid-May through mid-August is best as far as numbers of sailfish go. Marlin fishing peaks from November through March.
March and April are good variety months for Billfish, Tuna and Reef Fish, as is the period from November to December. Other species frequently taken include Rooster fish, Amberjack, Wahoo and Rainbow Runner. Fishing in Tamarindo Costa Rica
A four acre reef just a few miles off the beach, which rises to within a hundred feet of the surface, is home to big Cubera Snapper, Grouper and other Reef Fish. A 20 minute run time puts you out at the continental shelf where you can start trolling for Blue, Black and Striped Marlin, Sailfish, Bigeye and Yellow fin Tuna, Wahoo and Dorado.

 Seasons
There are two seasons in Tamarindo...dry season and rainy season. Dry
season begins in December and lasts into May. Winds can be strong
January, February and March but calm water lies a short run time to the
south. This can be our best season for Marlin.
Rainy season usually begins mid-May and we enjoy sunny mornings followed
by an afternoon shower most days through August. Rain can be heavier
and more frequent in September and October but fishing remains strong
and many people enjoy this quieter " green season".
