Costa Rica fishing is good year around. Yes we have seasonal changes in water conditions and what fish are biting and where, but there is always plenty of large game fish to target. Based upon the season there are Marlin, Sailfish, Dorado, Tuna, Wahoo, Roosterfish, Snapper, and more allowing you the ultimate saltwater challenge. The Los Suenos Resort / Marina offers the finest in fishing, lodging, and dining that you will find. This area of the Pacific Ocean is rich with Billfish which brings multiple world class Billfishing Tournaments to the area.
Expectations
Keep them high, because that is what a Sport Fishing trip in Costa Rica is all about. You're going to start your morning out by departing from the prestigious Los Suenos Marina. From there you will cruise out to the fishing grounds. Both Fandango and Barbarrosa are fully equipped with everything your going to need to have a great day.
The Days End
After returning to the marina you will be able to complete your day at the resort or in Jaco near by. The evening temperatures are perfect for being outdoors at local restaurants and night clubs. There are even a few places around that will cook up your catch of the day. So whether you're into dancing and parties, or just want to kick back in a hammock with a tropical drink, Jaco has it!
