Quepos Fishing Trip
Quepos is among the world's top destinations for sport fishing. Quepos fishing captains usually consider a half-day of fishing to be about 4 hours on the water, and a full-day of fishing is about 8 hours on the water. On the morning of a typical trip, the captain will send a driver to Hotel La Mariposa to pick you up and take you to the Quepos pier. All of the captains in the Quepos fleet provide food and beverages onboard, so you only need a few personal items like sunglasses, sunscreen, camera and your lucky fishing hat.
After being whisked to your boat aboard a dinghy, your captain will take you offshore for marlin and sailfish, or inshore for roosterfish, dorado and snook. Day 01
Check into Hotel La Mariposa and relax for a while. Head to our Sunset Bar to take in the spectacular scene as the sun plunges into the Pacific.
 
Day 02
Wake up early and hit the high seas. Time for some exciting offshore Sport Fishing. Cast for a wide variety of game fish. You won't believe some of the wild varieties you'll reel in!
Day 03
Time to get in some more Sport Fishing. If the big one got away your first day, here's your chance to get even.
Day 04
Relax and hang out by the pool sharing tall fishing tales...or head to the beach to work on your tan.
Day 05
Rise and shine, time to head back to reality. Transfer back to San Jose for your domestic flight home.
