Keith Covey host of World Wide Fishing Guide TV. Covey caught his first fish a 10 lb. Bass while fishing alone at the early age of four. He became hooked, fishing all the lakes and reservoirs in his hometown of Spring Valley, Calif. as a child.
In 1998, Covey was featured as a fishing expert and co-host on the Outdoor Life Network's Saltwater Angler and ESPN's Subaru American Outback programs. Covey firmly believes that not all fish should be killed that a gentlemen's etiquette must be established in the world of sport fishing in the name of conservation.
In his 40 years, Covey has reeled in over 210 different species of fish from around the world. He has fished with the likes of world-renowned IGFA fisherman Raleigh Werking, and Orvis Fly-Fisherman of the Year, Pat McCord.

 The key to successful Bass fishing in California lies in technique. Without question there are certain very unique methods used in lure selection and bait presentation that have been designed especially for California Bass. Although many of these little "tricks" have been developed by the Western Bass pros it is just recently that they are being used by fellow pros to catch Bass in other parts of the country. Up until now it was almost impossible for the weekend, recreational Bass fisherman to learn about these special techniques.
