Fly Fishing San Diego Surf

Fly fish the surf with one of Andy Montana's experienced guides. Perch are around all year and are especially large in the wintertime when they are spawning. Halibut are also here year round with the big ones coming in during the Spring to spawn. Corbina, which is similar to a Texas Redfish, is a favorite species we target. They are prevalent in the late Spring through Fall.

Many clients use this trip as a private surf fly fishing class.

Wade the San Diego Bay or Mission Bay with one of our experienced guides. Spotted bay bass are prevalent and within casting distance from a number of locations. Bonito, mackeral, white seabass, croaker, corvina, corbina, halibut and even the coveted Pacific bonefish are all possible to be taken on the fly. Many of our clients choose to use this trip as a private fly fishing class on how to wade fish the bay.
