Salmon Fishing
Salmon are the most sought after fish here in Fort Bragg, at least from February through September, and is the most well known. If you've never tried salmon fishing you've got to try it at least once. They are a lot of fun to catch, are great fighters and great to eat. The average size is about 15 lb. although we do catch them over 50 lb.
Rockfishing
Rock fishing is perfect for children and people that have never fished before because of the constant action. Rock fish are much like a bass and the average size is 2.5 lb., but we do get them up to 14 lb. These fish are a lot of fun to catch and are great eating. You also have a chance to catch lingcod up to 35 lbs. and what most people call red snapper while doing this type of fishing.
Tuna Fishing
We usually start our tuna trips in the middle of July and run them through October depending on the weather. When the tuna move into the waters off of Fort Bragg we usually don't have to go far to get them. Most of our trips are 10 - 12 hour trips, but if they move in close enough we will do half day trips. We also offer 2 day trips that stay out one night and since there are no limit on albacore you can take as many home as you can catch.
