Captain Roger Thomas offers a lifetime of fishing experience and a large, fast, comfortable boat to fish from. There may be big fish; there may be many fish. You will always be given the best possible chance to catch your next limit whether we are trolling, mooching or drifting with live bait!
Bring a few friends for a day of fishing, or charter the whole boat and bring pizzas and a keg of beer.
We are easy to find, berthed in Sausalito's Clipper Yacht Harbor and very close to the Golden Gate and the best fishing grounds from the San Mateo & Marin County Coast to the Farallon Islands.
San Francisco Bay Fishing on the Salty Lady
The Salty Lady provides or rents everything you need for a day of fishing San Francisco Bay . Just show up with food and layers of warm clothes... maybe a camera too.
Individuals and groups of friends and coworkers can come on our open load fishing trips...
There is lots of room on the fast, 56 foot Salty Lady while fishing San Francisco Bay all season long. Albacore tuna arrive in late summer and fall when we offer incredible open live bait trips.
We depart in the early morning and fish until limits are caught for all or (typically) until the mid afternoon depending on conditions.
Rod rentals, tackle and fishing licenses are available on board the Salty Lady. Larger group reservations require a deposit.
San Francisco Bay Fishing Charter
You and your friends can have a floating party with pizzas and a keg of beer while you catch your limits of salmon, stripers, halibut and even albacore tuna. Have it catered.
Captain Roger Thomas will take you to schools of game fish. We fish all the popular holes in the Bay including the Alameda Rock Wall, Alcatraz, Chrissy Field and more. In the ocean, we fish the Marin County Coast, the Ship Channel, Farallon Islands and south to Deep Reef and the San Mateo Coastline. Experienced deckhands will net and prepare your fish to your liking.
Whale watching trips also find porpoises, sea lions, elephant seals, seabirds and even great white sharks. Sightseeing the gorgeous California Coast or photographing the cityscapes of the San Francisco Bay Area are unavailable from any other location.
Have a company fishing derby for your employees or a corporate charter with customers and business partners. An evening dinner buffet can be unforgettable experience. A bachelor/bachelorette party will never be forgotten (and the "entertainment" rides for free).
