Tookus Inn is a mobile, 2800 square foot fishing lodge specializing in freshwater and saltwater BC West Coast fishing adventures. Our BC west Coast fishing lodge has all the amenities of home. From heated floors to laundry and the internet (upon request). We utilize two locations, one in the summer and one in the fall. We follow the fish as they head to remote rivers seldom seen except by heli-fishing. Heli-fishing available by request also. A unique and cozy atmosphere, the lodge maxes out at 10 guests, and is currently expanding. A variety of guests from families to business executives have visited Tookus Inn and commented on the personal service, great food, and good times.
 Owner, Rick Thompson has been offering BC west coast fishing charters for 12 years, and is a certified Paramedic Firefighter with 24+ years of service in the Kitimat Fire Department (local 1304). Tookus Inn Lodge was built to Fire Inspection safety standards thanks to a career in emergency response and fire prevention. Steelhead Fishing BC West Coast Secluded rivers for Steelhead and Salmon. Boat access only. These are waters offer excellent fly fishing or casting and the same type of fishing that other lodges charge a lot more to access by helicopter. steelhead fishing. The river is remote and accessible either by very expensive
helicopter fly-ins, (without fog), or by jetboat and then quads . We opted for setting the floating lodge near the river and then jetboating/quad
combination. It proved to work very well considerring age and health of some of our clients.
As a 25 year firefighter/paramedic I have always considerred peoples
limitations and I always put safety first. These fish are big. We've taken several 20 plus pound steelhead with fly and gear.
Another consideration is we are sitting on the ocean and have tons of snappers,
halibut, lingcod, crab prawn just outside the door! Crab feed till you bust a
button, we feast,.."Literraly gorge ourselves with sea food. My cooks have always
had great comments in the guest books and often get considerrable tips.
