Prince Rupert Salmon Fishing

Fishing for Salmon, Coho, Pink, Chinook, Chum, Halibut, Red Snapper, Lingcod

Go hunting for the fish, and then stay where the fish are ! Fish from the safety and comfort of a 48-foot yacht. Rave On offers a unique fishing experience being able to cover large distances to fish the prime areas, while having all the creature comforts surrounding you. We anchor out in a secure and beautiful anchorage each evening to save travel time and increase fishing time.

Our Prince Rupert Fishing Charter Boat

Rave On is a totally self-contained yacht. She has all the amenities. A complete galley and deep-freeze to process and store your catch. She has five hundred gallons of fuel and a water making system for an unlimited supply of fresh water. She has two heads, one forward, one aft, and will sleep six comfortably. She is Coast Guard approved and includes an eight-man life raft. Her electronics, all using the latest technology, include: Sounder, VHF, Nobletec navigation system, computers, autopilot and radar. She is a safe blue water yacht. The settee converts into a double bed. The aft stateroom contains a queen size bed and the bridge has a second double bed. There are four bunks forward.

When to go?

There are times when the Big Tyee are in and other times when the Grey Whales have arrived. This is typical in this beautiful ever changing area. The following may help you to chose a time of year that is best suited to your interests:

Mid-April through May
7-10 day inside passage cruises. These trips offer something for everyone: Saltwater fishing for salmon and halibut, freshwater fishing in remote lakes and streams for trout, and wildlife viewing while cruising through never-ending scenic vistas.

June through Mid-July
5 day fishing trips in Chatham sound and the surrounding fiords. For the serious fisherman wishing to take on the big Tyee, this is Chinook season in full swim. This is peak season for halibut, ground fish. The incredible scenery comes included in the trip.

Mid-July to Mid-August
This is Coho season and there's plenty of them. If you want that action, this is the time of year. Halibut and other ground fish are also plentiful. Orcas and Grey Whales are abundant, so it's also a great time to book the Eco trips

Prince Rupert Fishing Charter Rates

Package A: $450.00 overnight per person per day* all-inclusive. Not included are fishing licenses, liquor and items of a personal nature.

Package B: $350.00 overnight per person per day.* We supply the fishing gear and tackle; you supply ice, bait, sleeping bags, food, etc.

Package C: One Day Charter - $300.00 per person.* bait and tackle are supplied.

Eco Tour Rates

Whale Watching Tours: $275.00 per person*
Grizzly Bear Tours: $275.00 per person*
Harbor Tours: $75.00 per person*

*Based on a minimum of 4 people
Extra persons will pay the per person rate.
Children 12 years and younger are 1/2 price.

All prices in Canadian dollars and do not include G.S.T. Charter rates do not include gratuities or licenses. A deposit of 50% of the total is required upon booking to ensure your time. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to the following year. Until the deposit is received your booking date remains tentative.
