Exuma Bahamas Bonefishing guide
Exuma Bahamas Bonefishing Guide
Exuma Bahamas offers some of the greatest Bonefishing in the world. Let me be your guide for a day or even a week. I'd be pleased to share some of my island paradise with you.
The Exuma islands are a string of islands and cays that form a pearl necklace of long forgotten hideaways, natural harbours and secluded beaches, that span over a hundred miles of clear blue water--a new island for every day of the year.
The Exuma chain comprises about 365 or more cays that stretch for about 130 miles beginning 30 miles southeast of New Providence.
The Exuma highlight has to be the locals. The genuinely friendly Bahamians will welcome you to the islands.
Great Exuma the largest island in the Exuma chain, with a population of approximately 5000, is a tropical paradise of unparalleled breathtaking ocean views, unforgettable beaches and miles of wadable flats. The idyllic climate of the Exumas makes it an ideal Bonefishing destination year round. With average winter temperature of 80 degrees and light breezes The beautiful flats are warm and inviting year round.
Exuma Bonefishing Guide
Bonefish Stevie Ferguson
I grew up fishing the creeks of Hermitage Exuma and have spent my entire life on the Island. I have guided here on Exuma for over 20 years. My start to bonefish guiding came a bit by surprise in 1983. One afternoon I was on the dock fishing and the Manager of Out Island Hotel came to pick up his guests and they needed a local to show them around the Cays. That first day guiding we caught nine Bones. For ten years I guided for the Peace and Plenty Bonefish Lodge and now operate as an independent fishing guide.
I’m also available for deep sea, reef, and fly fishing instruction.
I’m a certified Bonefish guide and also have CPR and first aid training.
I understand everyone has a different fishing style and preferences and will work with you to make your days on the water the most enjoyable and productive.
With a laid back approach I’ve had the pleasure of guiding high profile clients, master fisherman, and first timer's. I have the guiding experience to be very attentive to your needs.
I’ll be waiting for your call.
