Andros Bahamas Bonefishing

The largest island in the Bahamas and one of the least populated, Andros Island is known as the "Bonefishing Capital of the World". Knoll's Landing his become known as the best location on Andros for catching the biggest and the most Bonefish. Located at the North End of Andros only 10 to 15 minutes to the Joulter Cays by Flats boats. Knoll's Landing takes you away from it all and puts you within a fly cast of some of the best bonefishing in the world. There are few places in the angling world where you can expect to reliably find trophy-sized bonefish. In the areas surrounding Andros Island, known as The Land of the Giants, bonefish that exceed 10 pounds regularly test angler's skills.

Andros Bonefishing Guide

With your Head Fishing Guide Rodney Miller, better known as the "Andros Angler" he is one of the most experienced guides on the island and personally oversees all operations here at Knoll's Landing. For years, Capt. Miller has specialized in catering to fly-fishermen from around the world.

If the stellar Andros bonefishing doesn't excite you enough, less than a mile to the east is a deep channel called the "Tongue of the Ocean," which drops from shallow water to thousands of feet deep. From this channel, huge barracuda work their way onto the flats. It is not uncommon to see cudas of four feet or longer in water less than a foot deep, where they will readily take a well-placed fly or lure

While staying at Knoll's Landing anglers fish from well-equipped 17' Silver King Flats Boat and also a 28' Sport-fishing & Dive Boat, and can at any time stalk the endless expanse of wade-able flats on foot. Wade fishing can be found directly in front of your accommodation, making it possible to fish on arrival and departure days or after daily guide hours for those who can't seem to get enough.

For 4 or 5 persons:

Waterfront "Cottage" has two bed rooms, fully equipped Kitchen, large setting/dinning area with bay window over looking the Conch Shell path to the Beach and Dock. Large screened in porch that can handel all your diving & fishing equipment. Satelite-TV/VCR/DVD. One full size bed & three Singles. Great for a Family or Fishing Group.

For 2 or 3 persons:

Waterfront "Upper Deck" Apartment = Has a large deck giving you a spectacular view thru the Tall Coconut Trees overlooking the beautiful waters of the bay and white sand beach. Queen Size Bed, Day Bed, Fully equipped Kitchen, Bath, and Sitting/Dining Area, Radio/CD player. TV/DVD. Lovely Apartment.

For 2 persons:

Waterfront 'Gazebo' Efficency Apartment - Beautiful large Unit with King Size Bed (can be made into two Singles), sitting area with view of garden & Bay thru double glass doors.. Large Bath with sliding glass doors onto Patio. No Kitchen facility, but has a small frig, micowave, coffee maker, toaster, TV / DVD player.
