Little Red River Trout Fishing
 The Little Red River is a gin-clear medium sized river that springs full-sized from under the Greer's Ferry Dam at 48. Masses of coontail moss provide cover for Rainbow, Brown, Brook and Cutthroat trout in the deep runs but shallow gravel shoals allow good wading as well. World-class brown trout fishing here on the Little Red ! You may have heard that the IGFA any line-test world record brown (40lb.4oz.) was caught here in 1993. Here's a picture of the lucky angler, Rip Collins, with the monster fish. As with giant brown trout anywhere, these big fish (20-40 lbs.) are rarely seen and even more rarely caught. However, there are plenty of "smaller" (4-10 lbs) fish that are susceptible to crank baits or size 6 Wooly Boogers for you fly fishermen. These browns are wild fish as they were only stocked in 1974-5.
Lindsey's is the nicest resort on the river, located 2.5 miles below the Dam. Our proximity to the Dam gives us the clearest water on the 75 mile long Little Red and access to several great trophy fishing areas close to the resort. Lindsey's has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing. The Resort is only a one hour drive from Little Rock, Arkansas and three hours from Memphis, Tennessee.
Little Red River Marina:
Modern trout dock with trout fishing pier, bait, tackle, snacks, and gifts. Boat and motor rentals, guide services are available, also boat rental if you bring the motor.
Little Red River Boats:
We have boats and motors for rent. They come equipped with paddles, anchors, live wells and life jackets. Our Dock features a modern fish cleaning table.
Little Red River Fishing Guide Service
Lindsey's is proud of our guide staff who have a combined total of over 400 years experience guiding on the Little Red River. Most of those years, our Little Red River fishing guides have guided exclusively for us. Our fishing guides are personable and no one knows the Little Red River better than they do. They are excellent with children and will help you and your group or family build a lifetime of memories. We also offer Party Barge Guide trips. Little Red River Cabins
Our Log Cabins can sleep from 1 to 8 people with additional people extra charge depending on occupancy. We have many types of cabins available. We have cabins with Fireplaces, Jacuzzis, 1 to 4 Bathrooms, and 1, 2,3,or 4 Bedrooms per cabin.
This is a brief description of the lodging available:  Each Cabin has an Equipped Kitchen, with range top ,refrigerator and sink, and a Sitting/Dining Area with Cable TV.- Each Cabin has its own bathroom facilities.
