White River Fishing Newland's has all equipment, bait, tackle & licenses available to professionally outfit your group. And we arrange with guides who will take you to the fish. These are trout infested waters to begin with, and, additionally, over a million trout are stocked in the White River each year...will you catch your share? Any type of bait (flies, worms, spoons, spinners, etc) may be utilized in most areas. Usually, spin-cast tackle is used. One of the main factors, since trout have such good eyesight, is to use light lines (4-6 lb). White River Fly Fishing For those who like to FLY FISH one of our professional guides, like STEVE SCARLET, among others, will take you to the fish and give you the right fly (scuds, sowbugs, wolly bugers) to use...the catch'in is up to you. For those who would like to take up the fly-fishing sport, our guides can teach you and before you know it, you'll be catch'in fish. It is truly a fun way to catch trout and fun for the whole family. We also feature trips on BUFFALO NATIONAL RIVER for Smallmouth Bass. This is a "one of a kind stream", the first National River in the US. Newlands is an "Authorized Concessioner of the National Park Service". Additionally, we offer trips to CROOKED CREEK, again for Smallmouth.

White River Fishing Lodge Our vacation lodges feature remote color cable TV, with VCR, fireplace, air-cond, modern kitchen and covered porch with grill. Each lodge has two baths and four bedrooms...a double and a single bed per room. Our lodges are very impressive. For your group, you can even make room assignments. Our lodges are spacious (over 1400+ sq ft) four bed- room homes, two baths, eight beds, remote color TV with built-in VCR/DVD, Large Living Room, Modern Kitchen, Microwave, Dining Room, Fireplace, Central Air Cond, Covered Porch with Bar-b-que grill. You will be impressed. We do allow pets, but require dogs to be "leashed".
Campfire Meals At Newlands, we have one of the most unique eating arrangements in the country...it's outdoors on the riverbank. What could be better? Your cook will grill your steak just the way you like it, along with all the trimmings. We do all three meals each day. Things are better than your grandmother ever thought about cooking, but don't let your cardiologist know you've been to Newlands! Daddy always told me that you can't control the fishing, or the weather...but you can control the food. Also, for anyone desiring a special diet while you're here, just let us know. A two-day trip on the White River, famous for Rainbow & German Brown Trout. All licenses, meals, lodging and fishing included. Itinerary for the trip is as follows:
Deluxe Plan $517 per person - 2 days, 2 nights.....
and includes licenses (3-day non-resident,) trout permit, prepared meals, deluxe lodging and guided fishing...including rod & reels and bait. Completely outfitted...you need bring only personal items.
BOAT RENTALS are available. We suggest at least 1/2 day guided trip prior, for your safety and knowledge.

Our season is basically from March through November. Hardly any of our large groups plan any events around holidays (Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving.) So these are times (along with Dec, Jan and Feb) we can guarantee lodging longer than 30 days.
