Patagonia (Argentina) area. Bariloche is a strategic location that offers convenient access to many world class fishing sites, with trophy rainbows and browns; great lodging options and airport.
Fly Fishing Bariloche
Programs
 Full day or half day fly fishing trips (floats or wading) on local rivers and lakes.
Leaving our truck close to the river, we can do short or mid to long walks looking for the best casting spots. On Limay River we can access to some of the famous pools including the mythical “Boca (mouth) del Limay”. This river is great for two-handed rod anglers.
Other options include: Pichi Leufu River, a typical Patagonian desert river, for dries and nymphs on small rods. Other wading options include the Traful (one of the few rivers with Locked Salmon) and Manso rivers.
The Lakes: From Bariloche we can access many lakes: Moreno, Mascardi, Guillelmo, Fonk and Hess. All of them offer countless full day and half day options. Early in the season is possible to catch trophy rainbows in Nahuel Huapi Lake.
Included Services:
- All transfers on 4x4 vehicles to and from your hotel in Bariloche.
- Certified Fly Fishing Guide, with current WFR (Wilderness First Responder) certification.
- River and Lake float or Drift Boat.
- Cold meals during the program, including local smoked meats and cheeses.
- All drinks (water, soda, beer and wine).
- Fully outfitted single rods and two-handed rods (Skandi Style).
- Waders and wading boots.
- Flies (5 per angler).
Important: In order to prevent spread foreign diseases, remember that you should not use your tackle (waders and boots) if you have already used it outside Patagonia.
