 The Kenai River is loaded with fish all summer, featuring different species at various times in the season. Our Kenai River Sportfishing Lodge has permits to fish extensive areas of the Upper and Lower Kenai River, ensuring we have the best access to the most fish all summer long. Fight the mighty king salmon in June, exhaust yourself bringing in tremendous sockeye salmon in July, and real in the silver salmon in August! All summer long we feature fly fishing on the Upper Kenai for Dolly Varden and rainbow trout, and by summer’s end those rainbows often top 20” and more!
As a full-service Sportfishing Lodge, we also offer chartered trips for halibut in Resurrection Bay, as well as our own guided trips for silver salmon in Resurrection Bay when in season. Be sure to ask about these exceptional options to enhance your multi-day vacation package.
Great Guides and Gear!
 Up well before dawn (and that means something in the land of the midnight sun!) our guides are devoted to having guests on the river early and on the fish first. They will greet you with a smile, pack a fresh thermos of coffee, and have your rods and reels rigged and ready to go. On the river, they are patient and accessible, skilled not only in time-tested techniques, but also as teachers, ensuring everyone has many opportunities to bring in their prize catch. Supported by a super staff of on-site coordinators, the guides can focus on providing a great day of fishing.
Your trip includes top-quality gear, guides, food and up to eight hours of guided fishing each day. We feature custom drift boats on the Upper Kenai, and power boats on the Lower Kenai. Halibut charters are available in Resurrection Bay for an additional cost.
