Savor our rugged Alaska wilderness while fishing for salmon, lingcod, rockfish, dolly-varden, and halibut. King salmon are tremendous fighters (see 63 pound king below) often times making repeated greyhound runs, testing your arm strength and resolve. Coho salmon are scrappy, acrobatic fighters and are fun to catch on light tackle - either in the salt or fresh water. Rounding out the salmon available in our abundant waters are chum, humpback and sockeye.

If halibut is your target fish, then you are in for a real treat while fishing with us! Halibut range from small chicken-sized game fish to gargantuan-sized monsters weighing up to 500 pounds, or more! Halibut are stubborn fighters and will resist capture by making runs for the bottom. If you tag into a big one, be ready for the battle of your life! Believe me, they make you earn every single pound of their savory white flesh! If stream fishing is your preference, you will enjoy catching dolly-varden, trout and coho on a fly, bait-casting, or spin-casting. We feature deluxe glacier view bedrooms, private baths, our spectacular glacier view dining room, and outrageously good meals. Our amenities include our Finnish sauna and hot tub with view decks, and our executive lounging and recreation room. Dining at Elfin Cove Lodge is always an event! You will really enjoy your delicious meals while taking in our expansive view of the Fairweather Mountains and Brady Glacier. Your main course will range from Halibut Florentine or Halibut stuffed with crabmeat, King Salmon with Hollandaise sauce, to Porterhouse or Prime rib steaks with au jus - on the lighter side, how about Fetticini Alfredo with smoked salmon? Savor our homemade breads and desserts!

Though we enjoy showcasing our area's fresh seafood, we realize 'one shoe' doesn't fit all our guests' palates, therefore, our head chef prepares an assortment of delicious Alaskan cuisine to make sure everyone has a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience.
