Fish Kodiak, Alaska! Join us for a warm and comfortable excursion on the charter vessel Lana J, a forty foot Coast Guard inspected boat with all of the comforts of home. On board you will enjoy all of the beauty of Kodiak Island and world class sport fishing for Halibut, Salmon, Rock fish and Ling Cod. You will be guided by Captain Mel Roe who has fished the waters around Kodiak Island for over eighteen years.

 Nestled in the middle of south central Alaska lays one of the most beautiful places you could ever hope to visit, Kodiak Island. From the lush emerald green landscapes to the most pristine blue waters you have ever dreamed of. We feel blessed to be able to call this place home and look forward to sharing a little piece of heaven with you. Whether you just want to travel around and take in the beautiful scenery or hook up on a trophy fish we can accommodate your every need. Kodiak Island is home to the largest bear in North America as well as Sitka Blacktail deer, mountain goats, fox, otters and beavers.
On the water one can enjoy an abundance of sea life including sea otters, seals, sea lions and many different species of whales.The waters surrounding Kodiak Island are home to halibut weighing over four hundred pounds, five species of salmon, huge lingcod and a vast array of other rockfish.
We have either full or half day adventures for up to twenty people or as few as three. Our Coast Guard Inspected boat is a forty foot Modutech that comes fully equipped with comfortable seats, heated cabin, private restroom and the latest electronics and safety equipment. Full day adventures include lunch, soft drinks, coffee and snacks while the half day will include snacks, soft drinks and coffee.  Kodiak Island Sightseeing Tours
Simply breathtaking may best describe a peaceful water tour around the Kodiak area. Here there is an abundance of wildlife including Bears, Mountain Goats, deer, Bald Eagles, three different color phases of Fox, Otter, Beaver and Ermine. Shifting your view from land to the sea you will witness an abundance of Sea Otters, Sea Lions, several species of Whales and a multitude of Sea birds including Puffins and Eiders.

From the depths of the crystal clear water you can catch monster halibut to over 400 pounds, Ling Cod, Black Sea Bass or any of the five species of Pacific Salmon (Chinook, Coho, Sockeye, Chum or Pink).
