Kodiak Fishing Lodge
 We are located in Old Harbor on Kodiak Island. Old Harbor is a sportsmen's paradise. Enjoy Kodiak fishing for King Salmon in May to Silvers in September, hunting for Sitka blacktail deer through December 31st, sea ducks and puddle ducks through January 22nd.
Large King Salmon start showing up the around the first of May and there is good Kodiak fishing for them until middle of July.
Lingcod season opens July 1st.
Halibut Fishing season opens February 1st and closes December 31st.
Kodiak fishing for Cohos start the last week of July and start to peak around the last week of August until the middle of September.
Kodiak Fishing Charters
We are a family owned and operated business. Our Kodiak charter boat operators are USCG licensed and have a lifetime of commercial fishing behind them. Our operators know the waters that surround Kodiak Island and just where to find the fish on your charter. Our goal is to provide you with the best Kodiak fishing charter experience during your stay with us. Whether it is out on one of our boats or at our lodge we are here to serve you. This entire atmosphere is wrapped in comfortable and modern accommodations.
 
 Fish the protected waters of Sitkalidak Strait off Kodiak Island for giant chrome-bright king salmon ranging from weights up to 75 pounds.
Kodiak King Salmon Fishing limits are 2 a day. June is also good for rockfish and halibut.
Kodiak Halibut fishing limits are two of any size per day.
Along with ling cod season opening July 1, silver salmon are starting to come in and you can still catch kings. You can possibly see whales and other marine mammals, which include harbor seals and steller sea lions when on a Kodiak Fishing Trip. Bears may also walk along the beach within view from the boat. Our skippers are Coast Guard licensed and have a lifetime of experience on the water around Kodiak Island.

Ocean View Lodge is truly a fishing paradise, with easy access to a vast array of Kodiak Island Fishing grounds sheltered by beautiful Sitkalidak Island. Centrally located on the east side of Kodiak Island, Old Harbor is a 30-minute flight from the city of Kodiak. A fisherman's dream come true, we offer five species of salmon, from king salmon in May to silvers in September, the action never stops when Kodiak Island AK Fishing!
 Ocean View Lodge is a newly constructed lodge with eight rooms and a large common room, with a beautiful view of Sitkalidak Strait. Each room has a private full bath. The common room has several couches to relax on after a long day of fishing or hunting. During the spring bald eagles roost near the lodge and frequently fly by the windows of the common room.
A trip to Ocean View Lodge is more than a fishing or hunting excursion. It is an adventure that creates warm memories that will stay with you for a lifetime.
