Togiak River Fishing Adventures Fly Fishing Guide for Salmon and Trout.
Togiak River Fishing
Our Togiak River fishing adventures depart from the village for a short trek up the Togiak River every morning and return in the evenings (and at lunch if requested), bringing you back to the comforts of home.
Stay in the comforts of home. Tim's Lodge is a beautifully designed home minutes from the Togiak Airstrip. It's located in town, so we can provide you with the best food, atmosphere, and a chance to experience the hometown charm of a rural fishing village. We even have Yupik Eskimo cultural dance performances.
Have a warm meal and a hot shower, then put your feet up and relax as you discuss the day's fishing adventures and prepare for tomorrow's experience.

Tim’s Alaska Adventures Specials
Tim’s Alaska Adventures is located in Togiak, Alaska, which is in the Bristol Bay Region of Alaska. Which is about 400 miles Southwest of Anchorage. You fly into Anchorage to Dillingham. Dillingham is where our service begins. Your roundtrip air-fare from Dillingham to Togiak is included in the trip pricing.
Our Special
We are an All-Inclusive lodge which includes all the meals, lodging, guide, processing, vacuum packaging the fish and boxing. Some things we DO NOT include is gratuity, fishing license, raingear and boots or waders. We like to make your trip a Yupik Eskimo cultural experience as well as a fishing experience. Our fish processing is a 12 hr flash freeze then wrapped in saran wrap then vacuum packing and put into a deep freezer until the day you leave. We usually recommend bringing a cooler because they sustain the airline abuse better, but don’t worry we do have wax fish boxes too.
Our facility can accommodate 10-12 people a week. We use jet boats. 2-3people per boat/guide. We usually do a shore lunch. We fish for 5 species of salmon: Chinook (Kings), Coho (Silvers), Sockeye (Reds), Chum (dog), Pink ( Humpies). Along with 4 species of trout: Rainbow, Dolly Varden, Arctic Char, Grayling. Northern Pike.
Halibut, Ling Cod, Rockfish (Yellow Eye) and Walrus Island Tours are an additional cost. We fish all our salmon and trout on the lake, river and the 7 different tributaries that make up the Togiak River. The Togiak River is 60 miles long with the average depth of 8’-10’ deep. There can be 15-20 boats on the whole river at one point in time. And most of them are within the first 5 miles. We are still virtually untouched and very remote. With the nearest town about 80 miles away which is Dillingham. So less people and more fish for you!!!!! During Kings and Silvers we’re catching anywhere from 20-100 salmon per day per person.
Bag Limit
Chinook (Kings) is 5 per week (year), 2 per day per person
Coho (Silvers) 2 per week (year), 2 per day per person
With Additional 10 Sockeye (Reds) per person this is Optional.
