 Alaska Offshore Adventures is located on Prince Of Wales Island, west of Ketchikan, Alaska. Prince of Wales is the third largest island in the United States, and is the destination of choice for fishermen seeking the hottest saltwater fishing action in the state.

Our 28-foot charter boat, the Kimber Dawn, is a brand new vessel outfitted with professional grade equipment. Designed and built with fishing in mind. The Kimber Dawn will deliver a comfortable ride and plenty of room to meet your needs on Southeast Alaska’s famous saltwater fishing grounds.
Southeast Alaska has tremendous fisheries resources, and Prince Of Wales is where it all happens. All 5 species of Pacific Salmon roam the waters here as well as Halibut, Red Snapper, Ling Cod and a myriad of rockfish species. Also residing here are seals, sea otters, sea lions, eagles, black bear, and deer; all regular visitors to the beaches and waters surrounding the lodge.

 The game fish of choice for most visiting anglers are the renowned King and Silver Salmon, and Alaska Offshore Adventures specializes in the pursuit of these incredible fish. King Salmon in the 20-30lb class are the average catch size, though fish in the 50, 60, and even 70lb range are taken each year in our waters. Though smaller in size, Silver (Coho) salmon flood the fishing grounds in number during the late summer, and their acrobatic displays make them a contender for top trophy honors. Rock Fish are abundant and caught regularly while fishing for the other species. Also available are Halibut, available year round in our waters. These amazing creatures can grow to barn door sizes and rival salmon as the signature dish at most upscale Alaskan restaurants. Their addition to your take-home catch is the perfect compliment to your Alaska Offshore Adventure.

 The boat you fish on can make or break your fishing experience. The Kimber Dawn was designed with fishing in mind...28' long and extra wide, with all of the modern electronics necessary to fish successfully and safely...and she's powered by twin 200hp Evinrude E-Tec outboards. You'll enjoy a comfortable run out to the fishing grounds from inside her spacious cabin, we have one of the few charter boats in the fleet that offers a full stand up marine head, and there's plenty of room on the fishing deck for your whole party.

 Guests are lodged at Paradise Adventures Lodge shore-side on a 25-mile long estuary, populated with all the local wildlife. The lodge is designed to reflect the Alaskan Lifestyle and affords guests incredible views from the covered waterfront deck. The first floor guest rooms open into a recreation room steps from the first floor deck. Meals are prepared in the gourmet kitchen on the second floor and served family style in the dining room overlooking the water. Rain gear is available for use by the guests in the event Southeast Alaska presents one of the rainfalls that make Prince of Wales Island home to the many streams that support our abundance of salmon.
