Sitka charter fishing for salmon and halibut is world renown. Salmon can run up to 60 lbs. while the average salmon runs 25 lbs. The average halibut catch runs 30 lbs., which is perfect for eating, but several are caught each year over 300 lbs. Red Snapper (yellow eye) and cod are also frequently caught and are delicious eating.

THE CATCH RATE IS EXCELLENT!

Our charter captains are U.S. Coast Guard licensed and professional sea captains who have fished the waters around Sitka for many years. Most are native Sitkans. A typical charter is on the water for 8-10 hours a day with 4-6 people fishing. The charter boats are quite large, comfortable and very sea worthy. Each has complete electronics on board. All bait, tackle and rain gear are provided and your catch will be cleaned and prepared for processing.

Our professional processor will meet your boat at the dock and transport your iced fish to be filleted and vacuum packed to your specifications. This insures you take home a fresh, quality product. Having your fish smoked is another option.

Sitka Alaska Fishing Lodge

Our modern lodge is located on the waterfront with sweeping vistas of Sitka Sound. We have 8 spacious lodge rooms with extra large beds and each with a private bath. We can accommodate 18-20 guests and our lodge layout is ideal for families, groups and corporate fishing trips. Relax at our lodge after a day of fishing or exploring Sitka.

The lodge has a large recreation room with a pool table and satellite TV for lounging and swapping fish stories. We also have a DSL internet connection. We are easily accessible on Sawmill Creek Road with plenty of parking.  Airport Shuttle service is provided.

Our meals are all home-cooked and feature a wide variety of choices. Breakfasts are served buffet style and include juices, eggs, meat, waffles, muffins, hot coffee and lots more. Lunches are packed to take along on your charter fishing trip. Dinners focus on fresh seafood, steaks, prime rib, fresh veggies, salads, fresh baked breads and a specialty dessert.
