Nushagak River Fishing lodge located in the Salmon capital of the world 7 miles below the village of Ekwok, on the Nushagak river in the heart of Bristol Bay.
The Nushagak river boasts the largest King Salmon run in the World!
Nushagak River Lodge
Nushagak River Fishing Lodge is located about 70 miles northwest of Dillingham on the Nushagak River. King Salmon on the Nushagak River average about 22 pounds but can hit the scale at 50 plus pounds.
Stay in one of our cozy cabins, and enjoy the amenities of the camp; take a Hot Shower or Bath, watch TV and surf the Internet, after a hard day battling the monsters on the river.
Plenty of wild life and lots of memories so don't forget your camera. We provide all fishing gear g-loomis and lamiglass we fish with wiggle warts quick fish cured eggs spinners what ever it takes. We take care of your fish cleaning, filleting, vacuum packing and freezing them. Kids are welcome! We have hammocks, horseshoes, buoy swings and much more to keep the children occupied.

You are allowed four kings over 20 inches a year (thats about 50-75 lbs of fillets). You are also allowed to keep five per day 20 inches or less which is called a Jack. You can keep two per day between 20-28 inches, or you can keep one larger than 28 inches and one between 20-28 inches in a day. But of course you can catch and release as many as you can catch.
Nushagak River Fishing Lodge is nestled up on the bank of the river which is a nice retreat that anyone would enjoy. Beautiful cabins with satellite TV, private bath and shower. We also have a washer and dryer so you don't have to bring a lot of clothes.

Nushagak River Fishing Packages include:
- Roundtrip airfare from Anchorage to the lodge.
- Fishing License {King salmon stamp if applicable}
- All lodging and meals.
- Guides and all fishing supplies, we use 22 foot Fish-Rite boats
- Fish cleaning: we bleed all fish for better quality,fillet them and professionally vacuum pack them

I am very pleased to report that dreams do come true!!!
Like many in the Lower 48, I grew up dreaming about the wild country of Alaska. Flipping through dad’s copy of Outdoor Life and Fly fisherman, I visualized myself swept away to the land of giant bears, big rivers, and wild salmon. I spent many hours and made multiple phone calls in my search of the best operation to meet this dream, ultimately ending with Rick and Nelda Murphy and Chip Ryan on the Nushagak.
I am very pleased to report that dreams do come true!!! I could not have hoped for a better experience than that provided by the group. Outstanding facility, highly professional (and personable!) staff, great gear, and top notch meals are just the beginning. The only crowds you will see are the numerous eagles jocking for position on the gravel bars waiting for their next salmon dinner.
And the fishing.....incredible!!!! Several 100+ fish days. One day, one fly...over 100 silvers on my fly rod!!! Smoking hot, chrome bright, and ready to fight, the silvers are amazing. And then there are the rainbows, grayling, and char. You will not find a better opportunity to make your Alaska dreams come true than Nushagak River Fishing Lodge.
I know I am already dreaming of my next trip; I can't wait!!
