The “Shady Lady” has gained the reputation as one of the top producing offshore charter boats along the Alabama Gulf Coast and Florida Panhandle by landing big catches of big game fish like yellow fin tuna, black fin tuna, wahoo, dolphin, mature amberjack and swordfish. If our charter chooses we will also offer deep-drop fishing while on offshore trips allowing for the opportunity to catch tilefish, yellow edge grouper, warsaw grouper, silk snapper, and more. Our fishing platform allows for more anglers fishing at a time. Shady’s size and fuel capacity allows it to comfortably fish greater distances offshore. This year we look for our catches to further increase as a result of us adding hull mounted underwater lights, which helps draw bait and big game fish around the boat at night.

Along with her long-standing reputation as one of the top performing charter boats in Orange Beach and Gulf Shores, the Shady Lady also has the distinction of being an extremely comfortable vessel regardless of the sea conditions. She’s often referred to as a battleship!

The air conditioned “Shady Lady” has three staterooms, 2 baths with a full walk-in shower, a large salon & galley, Green Egg grill, high volume ice maker, TV/VCR/DVD, Satellite radio and sleeps 10 comfortably. Orange Beach offshore fishing Trip Schedule:
Estimated 36-hour Trip with a scheduled departure at 6:00am and return the following day at 6:00pm.

Orange Beach Offshore Fishing Trip Plan:
On the way out anglers and the Shady Lady crew will troll for Wahoo and King Mackerel. We will then stop at deep-water spots and fish for Scamp, Grouper, and Amberjack. Depending on the water and fish conditions, we will arrive late afternoon at one of the many deep-water rigs and attempt to catch big game fish like Tuna, Dolphin, Wahoo, or even Marlin. Once the “bite” has ended, we can prepare to settle in for the night. After a long day of fishing and a good cooked meal on the Green Egg, anglers can jig for Black Fin Tuna, while the crew sets out Swordfish rigs and begin chunking hoping to hook up Larger Yellow Fin Tuna. Anglers can continue to fish through the night, maybe even having the opportunity to hook a Yellow Fin on one of our heavy-duty spinning reel using a top water popper. As the sun begins to rise we will began to troll or kite fish for the big one. While making our way back to port, we can finish the day off bottom fishing for eight different types of fish such as: Snapper, Trigger Fish, Grouper and etc. Kick back, relax and enjoy the ride back to port.

Trip Price Includes:
Standard charter service such as: fuel, bait, and tackle, including big game equipment.

Sleeping accommodations includes pillows, sheets, and blankets.

Large hot water shower is available and is equipped with soap and clean towels.

Food such as: Conecuh sausage at breakfast: fresh fish, hamburgers or hot dogs for lunch and dinner.

Gratuity is included for multiple deck hands but for extra service, please tip accordingly. Fish cleaning is not included in the trip price but offered by the crew at a rate of $.30 per pound whole fish weight.

Special Conditions:
We will only allow 10 customers on an overnight trip. Due to fuel cost, we must have a minimum of 6 confirmed customers. Time and the day of departure may vary due to weather and other unforeseen conditions. Alcohol consumption is allowed but is asked to be kept at a minimum due to the length of the trip.
