Captain George Pfeiffer is a panhandle native with over 35 years experience navigating and fishing the Emerald Waters of the Gulf Coast. The captain has built his own private artificial reefs his entire career.

We are equipped to provide all types of fishing; from 4 hour trolling for small groups or large groups for up to 75 people on the Emerald Spirit and 30 people on the CAT. We also do Marlin, Tuna trips and tournaments of all kinds. We provide corporate outings and are docked in Orange Beach, AL.

The Emerald Spirit is a 65' Bonner, powered by Twin 600 h.p. Lugger engines which allow it to cruse about 19 knots. We have two 2.5 ton air conditioners/heaters, a 900 lb. a day ice machine, a 3,000 pound fish box and livewell. There is a refrigerator, microwave and large Green Egg.

The Emerald Spirit is U.S. Coast Guard Inspected for Safety and Certified for 49 passengers out to 100 miles with overnight accommodations for 12 people from Apalachicola Bay, Florida to Brownsville, Texas.

We have purchased the boat and completed a full and extensive overhaul to the entire Vessell. From all new steering and electronics to running gear and deck stringers, wiring, paint job inside and out to plush new cushions in the v-berths. We have literally re-built the entire boat with the latest and greatest.

The Emerald Spirit has all new tackle. 70 matching rods and 4/O Penn reels. We have a 100 gallon live well to keep all the live bait you can use fresh and vigorous. With over 160 feet of rail space over the walk around deck, there is plenty of room to fish anywhere you please. Two bathrooms have hot water showers and the cabin has plenty of air conditioning or heat to keep you comfortable.

The CAT

The C.A.T. is a 40’ Sea Harvester certified for up to 30 passengers. It has 350 h.p. Caterpillar engines. The C.A.T. has air conditioning, Green Egg, bathroom, microwave and v-berths.

Captain George Pfeiffer was born and raised in the beautiful Florida panhandle city of Pensacola. He has lived on the water all his life and worked for his father who was in the boat business from 1954 until 2004, when he passed away.

Captain George started fishing off his own dock on the emerald coast when he could barely hold a fishing pole. Since then, he has fished all of northwest Florida, Alabama, and the Mississippi Delta. He has fished everything from the rivers, to the backbays, to the beautiful blue offshore waters in the Gulf of Mexico. While still employed with his father in the boat business, Captain George fished commercially for Red Snapper from Panama City, Florida to the Texas Gulf Coast.

From gigantic Yellow Fin Tuna off South Pass, Louisiana to trolling for the majestic Blue Marlin in the DeSoto Canyon, Captain George has over 35 years of experience fishing offshore and he knows where the big ones live. Captain George has been building his own fishing reefs for over 30 years, so he has plenty of red hot fishing holes waiting to be fished. Captain George and The CAT participate in all local Fishing Tournaments.

Captain George has held a US Coast Guard license for over 35 years. All you need to do is mention Captain George around any marina or tackle shop, and you will find that he is one of the most respected captains on the Gulf Coast who can put you on the fish.

Any Orange Beach charter fishing trip over 12 hours, requires, by U.S.C.G. regulations, an additional relief captain and crew. Prices for trips over 12 hours include the cost of additional crew.

We provide everything you will need while on board.All you need to bring is food, drink, sunscreen, and the desire to catch big fish! As always, we will have plenty of live bait and all the cigar minnows with cut bait that you can possibly use. We will travel that extra mile to make your trip as memorable and pleasurable as possible. Book your trip early so you can get the day that works best for you.
