Orange Beach Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Charter Boat
Our boat, Getaway, is a 36 foot custom Hatteras and is fully air conditioned. She is powered by twin diesels and is equipped with bathroom, shower, television, DVD, stereo system inside cabin and on the back deck with satellite radio, and microwave. We have a flat screen TV and Play Station II on board for some added entertainment. The kids can fish, play games or nap. You can also bring your own DVD's or watch ours. T he fish we specialize in include bottom fishing for gag grouper, red grouper, scamp, red snapper, vermillion snapper, white snapper, black snapper, triggerfish, amberjack, king mackerel, redfish and sharks. Nearshore trolling trips are also available for spanish and king mackerel. Offshore trolling trips are available for tuna, wahoo, dolphin and marlin fishing. Fall and Winter Fishing Trips Nov - Feb 28th
Our 4 and 6 hour trips usually produce some big bull Redfish during November, December, January, February and early March. Mackeral are often caught into early December. You can sit on the back deck and enjoy hot gumbo, fresh gulf shrimp and your choice of music from Sirius Satellite Radio. Enjoy all of this as we cruise along the beaches of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach waiting on the big bite. If you enjoy sportfishing and light tackle action for bull redfish, then we always keep spinning rods rigged and ready to cast into a school of big reds or if you prefer, then just sit back and relax as we troll for these big fish. We always promote catch and release, but these redfish are tasty when served blackened or grilled. You choose to keep or release. Enjoy all of this from a comfortable boat with a big back deck that can accommodate up to 6 people. Winter Redfish Trips 4 hour Redfish Trips $650 8 hour Redfish Trips $850 The 10 hour fishing trip is for the serious anglers that want to target grouper, scamp, vermillion snapper, white snapper, triggerfish and amberjack. Spring, Summer and Early Fall Fishing Trips
Morning and afternoon trips available with 4 and 6 hour trips 
Our 4 hour trip are great for the group or family that is looking for a half day of fun and fishing. We will be fishing for big cobia(ling) in mid March through mid April as they migrate west along the beautiful beaches of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, Alabama. You do not always hook one, but when you do, it can weigh from 30 - 90 pounds. We usually catch some spanish mackeral and king mackeral on our 4 hour trolling trips from May through October. The 4 hour trip is also great for the family that wants to enjoy some sightseeing as we cruise along the beach and watch the dolphins swim around the boat while we fish. 4 hour trolling trip $700 On our 6 and 8 hour trips from March through April 20th, we fish for vermillion snapper, white snapper and triggerfish. The 6 hour trip from April 21st through October 31st, includes trolling for mackeral in addition to bottomfishing for red snapper. This is also a great family charter or a fun half day trip for the guys or any group. 6 hour trolling and bottomfishing $1050 8 hour trolling/bottomfishing $1400 The 12 hour trip is our serious fishing trip . However, this trip is not just for the guys. Many families also choose this trip and have proven they are serious anglers. The 12 hour trip usually produces a variety of deepwater fish including red snapper, vermillion snapper, white snapper, triggerfish, gag grouper, red grouper, scamp, king mackeral, wahoo and amberjack. 12 hour Bottom Deep Sea Fishing $1900 The Offshore trolling trip is a full day of trolling for king mackeral, wahoo, dolphin(mahi mahi) and always a chance to hook into a tuna, sailfish or marlin. June through October are the best months for offshore trolling. August through October are best months for white marlin. Come enjoy some great sportfishing in Orange Beach, Alabama.

Booking Information The 1st mate will be by your side to assist you throughout the day. Suggested minimum gratuity for our Deck Hand is 15%-20%. Fish cleaning is $0.30 per whole lb. Rates are by charter, not by person. We can accept up to six passengers total per charter on the Getaway.

A 50% deposit is required and can be paid, preferably by check, and mailed to Getaway Charters P.O. Box 976 Orange Beach, Al 36561.I also accept all major credit cards.Fishing trips cancelled due to weather will be rescheduled.
We accept cancellation 21 days in advance with full refund. Your 50% deposit will not be refunded if you do not cancel prior to 21 days from date of fishing trip.No fishing license is required. We furnish all tackle, bait and ice.
